- ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ1
The Most Merciful
- عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ2
Taught the Qur'an
- خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ3
Created man
- عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ4
[And] taught him eloquence
- ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٖ5
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation
- وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ6
And the stars and trees prostrate
- وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ7
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance
- أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ8
That you not transgress within the balance
- وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ9
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance
- وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ10
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures
- فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ11
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]
- وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّيۡحَانُ12
And grain having husks and scented plants
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ13
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ كَٱلۡفَخَّارِ14
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery
- وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ15
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ16
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ17
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ18
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ19
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]
- بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٞ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ20
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ21
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ22
From both of them emerge pearl and coral
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ23
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ24
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ25
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٖ26
Everyone upon the earth will perish
- وَيَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ27
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ28
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- يَسۡـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأۡنٖ29
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ30
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِ31
We will attend to you, O prominent beings
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ32
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- يَٰمَعۡشَرَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنۡ أَقۡطَارِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنفُذُواْۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ33
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ34
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ35
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ36
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةٗ كَٱلدِّهَانِ37
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ38
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ39
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ40
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ41
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ42
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ43
This is Hell, which the criminals deny
- يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ44
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ45
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ46
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ47
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ48
Having [spreading] branches
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ49
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ50
In both of them are two springs, flowing
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ51
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ52
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ53
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ54
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ55
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ56
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ57
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ58
As if they were rubies and coral
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ59
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- هَلۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنُ60
Is the reward for good [anything] but good
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ61
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ62
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ63
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ64
Dark green [in color]
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ65
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ66
In both of them are two springs, spouting
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ67
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخۡلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ68
In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ69
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- فِيهِنَّ خَيۡرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ70
In them are good and beautiful women
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ71
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- حُورٞ مَّقۡصُورَٰتٞ فِي ٱلۡخِيَامِ72
Fair ones reserved in pavilions
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ73
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ74
Untouched before them by man or jinni
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ75
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٖ وَعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ76
Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets
- فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ77
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny
- تَبَٰرَكَ ٱسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي ٱلۡجَلَٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ78
Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor
